In short, an eFed is a collection of players playing a simulation of a wrestling federation. If you're a fan of wrestling, you may like this game. Keep reading for more information.
The first thing one must do is create your wrestler. There's no fancy tools needed, just imagine what he or she would look like, their attitude, their gimmick. Got it? Well, now you need to find an eFed to join.
At the top of this page you will find 9 links to the top eFederations on the internet. These sites have been originated from at least a year old up to 12 years of activity. So, you can be sure that these places aren't going to close shop and leave you hanging. If you can't decide which place is right for you, simply start a new topic in the Free Agent Forum and the heads of these sites will reply with information on why their eFed might be right for you. Would also be helpful to indicate if this will be your first time joining an eFed, since some places are able to cater to you more. Once you decide, simply send in an application to that site and await your approval. (Usually applications are on forums, so if you cannot find a link, simply check their forum)
Now, you've been accepted. What do you do? The booker of the eFed will create a matchlist or "card" for a fictional show that will take place usually a week in advance. There, you will find yourself booked against an opponent. In order to defeat this opponent, you must write a "roleplay". A roleplay is basically like an interview or promo you would see on television, except with more spice. Typically, many eWrestlers will have their promos occur in places completely separate from television. What I would recommend would be to read a couple on your own until you can get a feel for what a roleplay is like and then write your own. Once written, post it into the assigned spot for roleplays on the forum and you're ready to go. If all goes well, your opponent will post a counter-roleplay. Then, the eFed Judge will read both roleplays to decide which is the best promo. Then, the eFed match-writers will write the actual show where your match takes place. There, you'll be able to read the show as if you were watching it on television and find out the winner of your match through a play-by-play match.
Also, once you've joined your eFed you can contact the owner with any questions you may have. Be warned, it's an addicting game with endless possibilities for character development and storylines.
