VWF Superstar Passes Away following match
At the VWF's King Of The Ring PPV, former VWF World Heavyweight Champion Jace Gryphon took on acting VWF Chairman The Rick in a Last Man Standing match. The bout ended in a draw, with neither man able to answer the referee's count. However, when Rick got to his feet after the count, Jace lay still on the mat. Gryphon was rushed to hospital, with The Rick following in his own car. At the end of the show, following Mr. Fantastic's successful World Championship defence against "The Crippler" Steve Ryan, The Rick returned to the arena. As Rick's girlfriend Lacey Rain approached him, Rick informed her that Jace had died at the hospital. No further news has been received, but it is expected that the next VWF Crucifiction programme will feature a tribute to the former World Champion.
