World Rankings: An Explanation
The Experts have a database of wrestlers from all of our participating federations. How do you get on this list? Well, if you're in one of the feds here and have had a match, you're eligible. Check with your fedhead to see if he submits stats, and if he's unable to... volunteer to do it, yourself. Once you're ranked, here's how you get ranked higher:
- You get 1 point for every win you get.
- You lose 1 point for every loss you get.
- You get 1 point for successfully defending a title. Even if you lose via DQ, if you had a title before the match and it was on the line without you losing it, you get this extra point.
- You get 1 point for being in a main event match.
- You get 1 point for winning a match with 7 or more opponents.
- There are also other points you get for holding specific titles. Example: Holding the World title in a Global federation will get you 8 points that you keep until you lose the title. Each fed has their own value to each of their titles, while Regional fed titles are worth a little less.
The top 20 ranked wrestlers appear on our front page, and thanks to the my.ewexperts scripts, the rankings are very accurate, updated very easily and quickly after a show happens.
The top spot in The Experts is held by the True Expert. This person is basically the ultimate champion of all federations. If you're ranked high enough when one of our inter-fed shows comes around, you have the option of challenging for this title. The title is always on the line for the Extreme Tournament as well, meaning that a wrestler that is not ranked very high still has a chance of getting this title.
